Job summary

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. is seeking a Planning Intern to contribute to mission planning, routing, and fault management for autonomous trucks in Mountain View, CA.

You will gain hands-on experience with production-level robotics software and work closely with seasoned engineers on a state-of-the-art AV platform. The role targets juniors, seniors, or graduate students pursuing CS/EE/ML degrees, with strong C++ skills and interest in robotics.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ programming skills.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• Junior, Senior, or graduate students invited to apply.

Responsibilities

• Join Mission Planning to develop routing and fault management algorithms for autonomous trucks.
• Receive mentorship from robotics engineers and work on a production-like codebase.
• Contribute to state-of-the-art autonomous trucking platform and real-world deployments.
• Collaborate with offboard, operations, and systems teams to solve robotics problems.
