Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mission Planning Backend Software Engineer to support a cutting-edge SaaS product. This individual will collaborate with software developers, testers, and senior stakeholders to develop and integrate advanced software solutions for satellite environments. The Software Engineer will work hybrid out of Denver, CO.

Responsibilities for the Software Engineer include:

• Develop APIs, integrate AWS services, and implement new features in a complex algorithm environment.
• Develop backend software capabilities using Python, C++, and Rust.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

Required Qualifications for the Site Reliability Engineer include:

• 4+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Experience with Python, C++, and/or Rust.
• Experience with AWS Services (ECS, EKS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and API integration.
• Experience with constellation planning and operations software in the aerospace industry.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Compensation for the Software Engineer includes:

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000 (depending on experience).
• Full standard benefits: PTO, paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401k, sick leave as required by law.
