Job summary

Vantor is hiring a Mission Planner to work in the Longmont, CO office. The role focuses on coordinating tactical near-term collection strategies, data and workflow monitoring, and collaborating with engineers and MOC personnel to resolve issues. Candidates must be a U.S.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, geography, remote sensing, GIS, or related field. Four additional years of experience in a related field may be substituted for a degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project and/or task management.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments.
• Preferred qualifications include Unix/Linux experience, scripting and database knowledge, GIS technology, excellent verbal and written communication, ability to prioritize based on high-level requirements, and willingness to lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and execute tactical near-term collection strategies, supporting project and service level agreements.
• Monitor data and factory flows from planning, product generation, into layout and delivery.
• Perform necessary ground troubleshooting in accordance with established procedures and collaborate with MOC personnel during anomaly resolution.
• Communicate effectively with leads, engineers, and other stakeholders when troubleshooting beyond the scope of the existing procedures.
• Escalate operational issues as needed with team management and technical support teams.

Pay Transparency

To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

• The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $62,000.00 - $83,000.00 - $91,300.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
