The American Cancer Society is seeking a regional program coordinator for the Northwest Region of Puerto Rico, including Añasco, Arecibo and surrounding areas. The role focuses on implementing prevention and detection programs, engaging volunteers, and collaborating with community partners to meet mission targets.
Responsibilities include managing patient service programs in non-metro areas, coordinating staff and contracts, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and traveling extensively to communities;

Executes implementation activities for programs to priority accounts and communities of focus within ACS PR (e.g. quality of life (QoL), prevention/detection programs). Accountable for mission targets and cancer control through relationship management and engagement of locally based accounts and other community-based assets. Strong collaboration with Development staff to maximize event success. Ensures goal achievement through the engagement and mobilization of volunteers
Salary: $32,700
This role oversees the Northwest Region, including the following municipalities: Añasco, Arecibo, Aguada, Aguadilla, Barceloneta, Cabo Rojo, Camuy, Ciales, Corozal, Dorado, Hatillo, Hormigueros, Lajas, Lares, Las Marías, Manatí, Maricao, Mayagüez, Moca, Naranjito, Orocovis, Quebradillas, Rincón, Sabana Grande, San Germán, San Sebastián, Toa Alta, Utuado, Vega Alta, and Vega Baja.
