Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mission Operations & Cyber Resilience Lead to run 24x7 platform operations, oversee incident response, and ensure continuous authorization for the Data Exchange Platform. This role requires deep federal DoD operations experience and hands-on security leadership to keep military health partners connected securely.

You will work onsite in Reston, VA with primarily remote US work and travel to Reston as needed. A US citizenship and eligibility for ADP II clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in IT/CS/cybersecurity/engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• 10 years in IT operations, cloud ops, or cybersecurity in federal/DoD environment.
• Operational experience with 24x7 mission-critical systems.
• Hands-on with AWS GovCloud or equivalent government cloud; RMF.
• Knowledge of SAFe and Azure DevOps; Agile delivery capabilities.
• DoD 8140 qualification for applicable work role and HIPAA/compliance training.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24x7 operations, monitoring, and Tier 2/3 incident response for production data exchange services hosted in AWS GovCloud.
• Manage vulnerability and patch remediation (IAVM, STIG, ACAS) and RMF/continuous authorization artifacts.
• Implement Zero Trust and secure-cloud practices; integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Run change control; maintain runbooks and recovery plans; coordinate with Government and cybersecurity provider.
• Deliver via iterative backlogs; report operational metrics to Government leadership; act on feedback.
