Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale platforms.
• Familiarity with customer authentication and authorization platforms and standards.
• Experience with service containerization and deployment with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git for software version control.
• Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Effective interpersonal skills for collaborating across diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
• Experience or exposure to site reliability engineering (SRE) principles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and quality of the mission critical platform.
• Contribute to the MI team as a system engineer, software engineer, and analytic developer where you will design, develop, and integrate solutions involving the analysis of large data sets to establish mission cognizance and deliver mission-centric insights.
• Develop analytics to combine, normalize, and enrich large data sets.
• Design and implement ETL workflows to convert and normalize data.
• Augment the platform with new tools or technologies.
• Gather stakeholder requirements, assess available data, and develop solutions for delivering key metrics.
• Break down tasks into actionable steps that demonstrate consistent progress.
• Remove technical obstacles, manage expectations, and support team execution.
• Define and communicate task scope through clear documentation and tracking systems.
• Enable the team to integrate site reliability engineering practices into the operational platform.
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers and data scientists.
• Produce project management materials such as agendas, meeting notes, and design decision records.
