Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer (Starshield) to lead system trades across launch vehicles, spacecraft, and sensors for national security missions. The role requires obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret clearance and travel up to 25% as needed.

As part of the Mission Management team, you will interface with customers from early studies to launch and on-orbit activation, translating mission requirements into verifiable objectives and verification plans while collaborating across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience with product design, development, manufacturing, integration, and/or test.
• Master's degree in engineering discipline is preferred.
• 3+ years of technical project management experience with US government, NASA, or commercial spacecraft entities.
• Strong problem-solving, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership across all development phases from proposal to flight and on-orbit commissioning.
• Translate customer mission requirements into actionable development criteria and verification plans.
• Serve as the customer interface at meetings to define interfaces, test plans, and missions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure end-to-end mission success.
• Support all program phases from development to launch and on-orbit activities.
