Job summary

A leading technology firm in Virginia is seeking a Mission Engineer to support the Space Development Agency. In this role, you will engage with Warfighters to define mission sets and support external technical engagements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and over 10 years of experience in satellite acquisition. You should possess strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. This position requires TS/SCI eligibility and offers a chance to work with cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in a relevant field.
• Familiarity with MBSE for mission capabilities representation.
• TS/SCI Eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Warfighter Integration Cell to define mission sets.
• Support the Technical Director in external engagements.
• Develop CONOPS and modeling for mission cases.
• Perform trade studies for PWSA capabilities.
• Work with Requirements Lead for functional analysis.

Skills

Understanding of satellite acquisition

Strong written and oral communications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or relevant technical discipline
