Job summary

QinetiQ US is looking for a Mission Engineer to support the Space Development Agency's mission of delivering space-based capabilities. The role involves engaging with Warfighters to define mission sets and supporting the development of operational concepts.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and have over 10 years of experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. TS/SCI eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in relevant field.
• Strong understanding of mission capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the Warfighter Integration Cell to define mission sets.
• Support the Technical Director in external engagement.
• Develop CONOPS, OPSCON, use cases.
• Perform trade studies and develop courses of action.
• Work with Requirements Lead on functional analysis.

Skills

Strong written and oral communications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Understanding of satellite acquisition and operations technology

Familiarity with MBSE

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or relevant technical discipline
