Job summary

The Foundry Ministries in Pelham, AL is seeking a Sales Associate to assist in daily store operations, place merchandise on the sales floor, and provide cashier and customer service aligned with our faith-based mission.

You will maintain a neat, organized sales floor, help process donations, and work with a team to meet daily and weekly sales goals while upholding safety and courtesy with customers and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail or thrift store experience.
• Proven competencies in sales, products, and service.

Responsibilities

• Support management in daily store operations and ensure store procedures and protocols are followed by staff and program participants
• Provide cashier and carry out services as scheduled
• Maintain sales floor organization, stock, and cleanliness
• Assist as needed with unloading, sorting, and processing donations
• Responsible for maintaining neat, orderly, and clean sales floor and cashier areas at all times
• Assist in store recovery as needed
• Promote a collegial atmosphere within all thrift store departments, working cooperatively with all team members to help them and the department attain their overall goals
• Collaborate with teams to ensure meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and metrics
