Job summary

LMI is actively seeking a mission-driven Technical Program Manager to lead software development efforts supporting the Intelligence Community. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, translate mission needs into actionable requirements, and manage risks across multiple workstreams from a Virginia-based customer site.

You will collaborate with government stakeholders, software developers, and data scientists to align technical execution with mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience managing software development or systems engineering projects.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community missions.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and modern software engineering practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience engaging with technical and mission stakeholders.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI polygraph within past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead agile software development projects and technical intelligence missions.
• Coordinate software development projects with LMI's Chief Product Officer and Horizontal Platform Leaders.
• Serve as the primary liaison between technical and non-technical government customers and internal development and analytical team.
• Translate mission needs and analytic workflows into actionable technical requirements, product roadmaps, and sprint priorities.
• Manage project plans, schedules, risks, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Ensure compliance with architecture, cybersecurity, and configuration management policies.
• As appropriate, oversee integration with existing enterprise tools and data processing pipelines.
• Provide regular updates to government sponsors and internal leadership on status, risks, and outcomes.
• Support technical documentation, version control, and sustainment planning.
