Job summary

Adaptic is seeking a Systems Engineer to transform mission needs into capable solutions for DoD and Intelligence Community customers. You will work across the system lifecycle to define what needs to be built, shape how it should work, and ensure the final system delivers on requirements.

You will collaborate with customers, developers, project teams, and partners to translate operational needs into clear requirements, and help establish a shared technical and architectural vision across product

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
Experience translating operational needs into technical requirements.
Experience supporting engineering systems across their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Define Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and system requirements.
Translate customer and mission needs into actionable technical requirements.
Perform high-level system design and shape overall solution architecture.
Define performance, interfaces, and integration requirements.
Develop test plans for installation, integration, and acceptance.
Collaborate with customers, development teams, and partners to ensure requirements are met.
Support activities throughout the full system lifecycle from concept to sustainment.
Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and delivery.
Communicate a shared technical vision across product teams.
