Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in or related to assigned courses; Master's preferred.
• Teacher certification preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in subject area.
• Prior successful teaching experience, preferably 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Promote high expectations, caring environment, and social, emotional, and academic development for students.
• Develop standards-based, data-driven annual, unit, and lesson plans using backwards planning and assessment data.
• Plan and implement rigorous, engaging lessons that accelerate student growth and differentiate for individual needs.
• Develop assessments linked to course standards, analyze performance, and adjust instructional responses.
• Reflect on teaching practices through instructional coaching and professional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents to share progress and foster home-school collaboration.
• Participate in school community roles, including retreats, work-study initiatives, and clubs.
• Hold regular office hours to provide extra support and collaborate with colleagues.
