Job summary

TDC, based in Boston, seeks Project Managers to support and manage client engagements in close coordination with Vice Presidents and firm leaders. Project Managers are responsible for advancing projects by designing and leading the development of key strategic questions and supporting research tasks as a part of an internal project team.

In a Project Manager’s first year, there is a strong emphasis on learning TDC’s approach to nonprofit consulting.

Qualifications

• MBA/MPA or equivalent graduate degree required.
• 5–7 years of professional experience; at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Experience in nonprofit, social sectors, or research is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to client engagements, identifying key strategic questions and designing a research plan.
• Conduct in-depth financial analyses of income statements and balance sheets.
• Build financial models and evaluate strategic scenarios.
• Analyze large qualitative and quantitative data and synthesize implications.
• Contribute to major client deliverables, including reports and presentations.
• Maintain client relationships and facilitate meetings with stakeholders.
• Lead projects and manage timelines to meet milestones and budgets.
