Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington state is seeking a licensed MD or DO to provide primary medical care within a multidisciplinary team. The physician will participate in preventive health programs and coordinate with leadership to enhance patient care.

OB coverage and prescriptive duties are part of the role, with emphasis on service to diverse communities. Candidate should complete an ACGME/AOA residency, hold a current DEA certificate, and meet vaccine requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed MD or DO with current license.
• ACGME or AOA residency completed; board certification in the appropriate specialty or actively seeking board certification.
• Current DEA certificate.
• Uphold all current vaccine requirements for employment.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a care team to provide quality comprehensive services to Sea Mar patients.
• Provide primary medical care in accordance with training, experience, certification, insurance and licensure.
• Provide OB coverage when required.
• Refer patients to medical specialists when necessary.
• Prescribe and dispense medications per Washington State prescriptive authority.
• Participate in preventive health programs and educational outreach.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and Health Center Administrator to improve patient care experience.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical records and paperwork.
