Vantor Inc. seeks a Front-End Software Engineer to advance a mission-critical big data analytics platform for a U.S. Government customer. You will design secure, scalable web applications and collaborate with product owners, UX designers, back-end engineers, and cybersecurity personnel in an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes modern JavaScript frameworks, data visualization, accessibility, and performance, with 3 days per week on-site and SCIF requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance; CI-Poly preferred
• Minimum of 4 years in a technical/engineering role
• Strong UI/UX with responsive, accessible interfaces
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js and REST APIs
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Agile/DevSecOps
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a software/technical field
• Experience with geospatial data formats and standards

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web-based analytics UI
• Build responsive, accessible front-end solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Collaborate with back-end/data engineering to integrate APIs and data services
• Develop dashboards and interactive data exploration tools for large datasets
• Participate in architecture discussions and front-end strategy
• Ensure government security, accessibility, and software quality requirements
• Mentor junior developers and support Agile ceremonies
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance
