Job summary

Green Lake Conference Center seeks a Finance Controller to oversee financial integrity across three entities and lead the Business & Finance Team in GLCC’s Wisconsin operations.

You will manage general ledger, payroll, receivables, payables, and donor stewardship in Salesforce while ensuring internal controls and compliance. The role partners with senior leadership and the Board to provide actionable financial insights.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and financial management.
• Experience with financial systems (QuickBooks or similar).
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across all entities, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and cash management.
• Prepare and present timely financial statements and variance analyses for leadership and the Board.
• Coordinate budgeting process, audits, and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance.
• Monitor cash balances, liquidity, and investments; manage restricted and designated funds.
• Support Board governance with transparent financial materials and strategic financial guidance.
