Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago's Lake View branch seeks an Executive Director to lead strategically and operate responsibly, driving programs, membership experience, and community partnerships in alignment with the association’s mission.

As hub leader, you will own the hub's P&L, shape a multi-year strategy, ensure program quality, and cultivate local collaborations to strengthen impact in the Lake View community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Proven success in financial management and community engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to inspire diverse teams.
• Familiarity with YMCA systems and technology; adaptability to new tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Oversee hub P&L and financial performance; manage enrollment and programs.
• Cultivate partnerships with community organizations and schools.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across programming, operations, and marketing.
• Provide coaching, support, and development to staff; model YMCA core values.
