Job summary

The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in Seattle, WA seeks a President to serve as CEO, guiding the institution to fulfill its mission with strategic leadership, spiritual direction, and strong stewardship.

The President will work with the Board of Trustees, Executive Council, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and donors to advance the school’s mission, secure resources, and foster a learning community with a clear vision for public witness and impact.

Qualifications

• Proven executive leadership in higher education or nonprofit sectors.
• Demonstrated fundraising and donor engagement experience.
• Strong strategic planning and institutional growth capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to advance mission and strategic direction.
• Foster an institutional culture of formation, integration, and sustainability.
• Ensure health, integrity, and effectiveness of the institution.
• Serve as CEO accountable to the Board of Trustees and lead the executive team.
• Oversee fundraising, partnerships, and resource development for long-term sustainability.
• Represent the school to pastors, churches, accrediting bodies, donors, and the public.
• Champion the educational and theological identity of the institution.
