Job summary

Leidos in Hampton, VA is seeking a mission-driven Sr. Data Scientist to support intelligence work on-site at Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

You will design, develop, train, and deploy ML/AI models, providing recommendations for data collection, processing, and exploitation to support ACC A2 Staff tasks and projects. Qualifications

• Requires experience in designing/implementing ML, data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data science, AI or software engineering
• Two+ domains of intelligence or all-source intelligence experience preferred
• Experience extracting and analyzing data from COTS products
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, and deploy ML/AI models to solve operational intelligence challenges
• Mentor analysts on interpreting AI outputs and engineering prompts
• Support data modeling, data coalescence, and data element aggregation
• Create data visualizations and build mathematical models to present findings
