Job summary

Cross Catholic Outreach is seeking a Content Writer II to develop inspirational marketing content for print and digital channels. You will craft fundraising stories about ministry partners in 30+ countries, conduct interviews, and collaborate with internal teams and creatives to produce compelling copy.

Travel to developing countries to gather stories and capture impact, while mentoring newer writers and maintaining brand voice and editorial standards. A Christian background is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or creative writing.
• Fundraising and/or marketing background preferred.
• Ability to translate complex topics into engaging copy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and proofread targeted marketing content for print and digital formats.
• Research, write, and produce fundraising content aligned with branding and style.
• Develop and pitch creative themes for major marketing campaigns and multi-channel content.
• Build brand awareness through strategic content for campaigns and appeals.
• Interview partners and beneficiaries to craft human-interest stories.
• Mentor newer content writers and ensure adherence to editorial standards.
• Collaborate with photographers and videographers to plan content gathering campaigns.
