Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of professional experience in communications or a related field.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and content organization skills.
• Strong interviewing, information-gathering and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to transform detailed information into concise, audience-focused communications.
• Experience creating professional materials with Canva or similar tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, contributors, deadlines, and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production of CHC's biweekly all-school newsletter and other key communications.
• Coordinate content with school leaders, faculty, and staff, managing deadlines.
• Write, edit, and organize content aligned with CHC's mission and brand.
• Create newsletter graphics and visual assets using Canva or similar tools.
• Manage Mailchimp audiences, templates, and campaigns.
• Provide editorial guidance for school-wide initiatives and campaigns.
• Collaborate with leadership, staff, volunteers, and external partners; support publications and print materials.
• Lead project management and drive timely delivery of communications.
