Job summary

Wellspring is seeking a Development & Communications Manager to join its Development team in Kentucky. You will advance Wellspring’s mission through donor stewardship, event management, and compelling communications across print and digital media, while coordinating volunteers and supporting fundraising initiatives.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree preference and experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other channels, with a track record in nonprofit

Qualifications

• Experience managing organizational social media platforms and developing original content.
• Experience creating, writing, designing, scheduling, and publishing content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

• Developing social media content that supports Wellspring’s mission, programs, fundraising initiatives, events, recruitment efforts, and community partnerships while ensuring a consistent brand voice and professional image.
• Developing and coordinating print, email, website, and other media communications;
• Creating newsletters, fundraising appeals, promotional materials, and other branded content;
• Supporting donor stewardship and fundraising activities;
• Supporting public relations and community outreach efforts;
• Helping grow Wellspring’s audiences and community partnerships;
• Coordinating volunteer engagement efforts and assignments and helping ensure volunteers have the information and resources needed to contribute effectively.
