Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to clean and maintain office and facility areas, including washrooms, floors, and fixtures. You will contribute to the Goodwill mission by helping participants with disabilities become more independent, while ensuring clean, orderly premises.

Responsibilities include cleaning to schedule, performing minor maintenance, and upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand product labels written in English
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and the ability to be insured under the company’s vehicle insurance policy

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas using appropriate supplies (floors, bathrooms, woodwork, windows, walls, fixtures)
• Sweep, mop, or scrub and polish floors
• Remove chips, trash and other refuse
• Dust equipment, furniture or fixtures; polish metal fixtures
• Provide supplies and minor maintenance
• Demonstrate superior customer service in actions and words
• Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed
• Commit to Goodwill mission and help participants with disabilities become self-sufficient
• Attend meetings and stay informed on procedures and policies
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE
