Job summary

Marion Goodwill Industries is seeking a friendly, reliable Cashier to greet customers, process transactions accurately, handle discounts, and keep the checkout area tidy. You’ll be the face of the store and help promote community programs.

No prior experience required beyond a minimum of 6 months in retail; a high school diploma or GED is preferred, with dependable transportation and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. This role offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person and by phone.
• Operate the register to process transactions accurately, including discounts.
• Promote the store's missions and programs.
• Keep checkout area clean and organized.
• Assist with stocking, displays, and returns as needed.
• Support store promotions and seasonal campaigns.
• Contribute to store safety and team goals.
• Provide support in training new cashiers as needed.
