Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field plus 4–8 years, or Master's with 2–6 years.
• US Citizenship and active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Experience building OO applications in Java or Python and RESTful APIs.
• SQL skills with relational databases and Linux proficiency.
• Ability to work independently within established technical frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Backend development: design, develop, test, and maintain backend components using Java or Python.
• REST API development: create and sustain RESTful services for functionality and integrations.
• Object-oriented programming: apply OOP to build scalable, maintainable systems.
• Database development: write/modify SQL queries for data retrieval.
• Data source collaboration: understand data formats and integration methods.
• Linux environments: develop and troubleshoot in Linux-based setups.
• Data processing & business logic: implement backend data workflows.
• Bug fixes & enhancements: debug and improve application performance.
• Code quality: follow standards, participate in reviews, document efforts.
