Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4–8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 2–6 years of experience
• US Citizenship with TS/SCI and ability to pass a Polygraph
• Professional experience developing object‑oriented applications in Java or Python and hands‑on RESTful API development
• Working knowledge of Linux environments and relational databases with SQL

Responsibilities

• Backend development: design, build, test, and maintain backend components in Java or Python
• REST API development: create and maintain RESTful services for system integration
• Object‑Oriented programming: apply OO design for scalable, maintainable systems
• Database development: write SQL queries to support data retrieval
• Data source collaboration: work with internal/external teams to integrate data sources
• Linux environments: develop and troubleshoot in Linux-based setups
• Data processing & business logic: implement data transformation and workflow logic
• Bug fixes & enhancements: diagnose issues and improve performance
• Code quality: follow standards, participate in code reviews, and document work
