Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Mission Data Systems Engineer (mid-level) to join a team supporting the 337th EWS and related units at Eglin AFB, FL. The role focuses on EW mission data development, testing, and integration with hardware and software systems, requiring a DoD Secret clearance and strong problem-solving abilities.

The successful candidate will conduct EW research, coordinate programmatic requirements, and participate in MD configuration control boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical/engineering field or 8 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of system design experience, including hardware/software integration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EW research, MD development and MD testing.
• Support EW system programming/reprogramming and coordinate requirements.
• Prepare validation and verification test plans and organize MD configuration control boards.
• Assist with data collection, recording and post-test analysis of MD testing.
