Job summary

Edgesource Corporation seeks a skilled UI/UX front-end developer to design and build responsive, user-centric web applications supporting mission-critical systems. You will translate requirements into practical interfaces, create wireframes and reusable components, and ensure accessibility and performance across devices.

Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, integrating with APIs, and contributing through the full development lifecycle in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 4+ years of UI/UX or front-end development experience.
• Hands-on Angular and/or Node.js experience.
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency with HTML and CSS.
• Experience developing responsive web interfaces for multiple devices.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design and modern UI/UX principles.
• Experience translating requirements into functional UIs.
• Experience integrating front-end with REST APIs/back-end services.
• Experience developing and maintaining reusable UI components.
• Proficient with Git and version control.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, intuitive web applications and interfaces.
• Develop frontend components with Angular and/or Node.js.
• Translate business requirements into functional UI/UX solutions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows.
• Develop reusable UI components and maintain consistency across apps.
• Integrate front-end with APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, stakeholders, and users.
• Conduct usability reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Identify and resolve usability, accessibility, performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews, tests, and Agile ceremonies.
• Support modernization and continuous improvement of applications.
