Job summary

Ideal Innovations, Inc. seeks a Field Service Telecommunications/IT Support Specialist to support a high-visibility FBI CIRG program at the ERF facility in Quantico, VA. This full-time role requires extensive field experience and the ability to deploy domestically or internationally on short notice.

Qualifications

• Five years of telecommunications or communications systems experience.
• Education requirements as stated: HS diploma +7 yrs, assoc. degree +5 yrs, or bachelor’s +3 yrs; CompTIA Security+ can substitute.
• Ability to carry 70 pounds of equipment.
• Ability to climb on/under vehicles.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Ability to pass a polygraph and drug screening.
• Ability to deploy domestically or internationally on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Provide telecommunications and IT support for expeditionary missions and exercises for FBI CIRG.
• Maintain and update communications equipment at the ERF facility in Quantico, VA.
• Research new technologies and conduct training on new equipment.
• Be on-call to mobilize and deploy on short notice; may work extended shifts.
