Job summary

SAIC seeks a dedicated Safety Program Compliance professional to support a Government customer at Redstone Arsenal. You will lead safety audits, perform inspections, and coordinate with Army safety teams across Transportation, Explosives, Environmental, Fire, Radiation Safety and Emergency Management programs.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and a willingness to obtain a polygraph. Education must include a safety or occupational health focus with substantial related coursework.

Qualifications

• Must have undergraduate and graduate education in safety or occupational health, or related fields with 24 semester hours in safety/occupational health disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety program audits and follow-up inspections; submit findings reports.
• Provide safety-related training to workforce and perform inspections of laboratory equipment for compliance.
• Serve as safety representative at meetings and coordinate with Redstone Arsenal safety teams.
