Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Washington Navy Yard team in Washington, DC. The role supports the TRIDENT II missile program within SSP, providing technical and programmatic engineering expertise.

You will work with government and prime contractor stakeholders, develop integrated schedules, and assist with risk management, documentation reviews, and milestone preparations. Must be a U.S. citizen with appropriate clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical field.
• 1+ year of professional engineering experience.
• U.S. citizen with DoD TOP SECRET clearance, or SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TS.
• Excellent writing and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and programmatic engineering support to the TRIDENT II missile program within SSP.
• Support the government team in the Tactical Avionics program, including avionics software, survivability, and batteries.
• Develop integrated program schedules and assist with risk management.
• Coordinate with government and prime contractor stakeholders and review technical documentation.
