Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) in Washington, DC, is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Navy SSP programs at Maritime Plaza.

You will contribute to systems integration, trade studies, and program management activities, with emphasis on risk reduction and schedule oversight. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in defense systems engineering, and a DoD SECRET or higher clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DoD SECRET or higher clearance required.
• 5+ years of professional systems engineering experience with defense programs.
• Exceptional writing and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and programmatic systems engineering support to the TRIDENT II missile program within SSP.
• Support headquarters level planning, development and execution for systems integration, technical reviews, and system trade studies.
• Directly support Systems Engineering Branch program managers in development and oversight of schedules, GOVFurnished information, and risk management.
• Travel 1-3 times/year is desired.
