Job summary

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, seeks a systems engineer to provide mission-focused technical support for customer environments, ensuring systems and networks stay functional, secure, and optimized for real-time operations.

The role includes inventory management, patching, imaging, configuration, testing, and coordinating with engineering teams to maintain readiness and performance across DoD-facing environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting experience.
• Technical knowledge of Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments.
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (can be obtained within 6 months).
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance.
• Must be willing to work on site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all hardware and software assets and lifecycle status.
• Diagnose hardware issues and coordinate repairs or replacements to minimize downtime.
• Apply regular software and security updates to keep systems compliant and secure.
• Create, deploy, and manage system images for consistency across devices.
• Configure workstations, servers, and network devices per standards and project needs.
• Perform Tier 1–3 troubleshooting of hardware, software, or network issues.
• Document incident details, root cause, and resolution steps.
