Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a government mission-critical program.

You will administer servers, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security of the environment. The role requires a Secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, and 5+ years of systems administration experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in systems administration, infrastructure management, network administration, or a related technical discipline
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot infrastructure hardware and software issues
• Demonstrated experience supporting U.S. military, DoD, Intelligence Community, or other government customers
• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills
• Extensive Linux and Windows server/workstation administration and troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery procedures
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage IT infrastructure including servers, storage systems, virtual platforms, and network connectivity
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT hardware and software infrastructure; provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and maintain security
• Apply security patches and OS upgrades to ensure security and integrity of the environment
• Configure and deploy Windows and Linux-based servers, workstations, and supporting infrastructure
• Implement and maintain virtualization platforms for various applications and services
• Establish and maintain system configurations to meet technical and business requirements
• Work with cybersecurity team to maintain seamless operations while adhering to security protocols
• Implement security controls and access management for user systems and infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with established security standards and procedures
• Support new infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
• Maintain configuration documentation and develop SOPs and technical guides
• Establish operational plans and implement best practices
• Diagnose complex problems spanning servers, OS, storage, networking, and hardware
• Provide on-site and remote technical support and coordinate with teams to resolve challenges
• Present system capabilities and infrastructure solutions to technical and business stakeholders
• Provide feedback to improve infrastructure functionality and efficiency
