Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks a seasoned Systems Administrator to manage and advance our enterprise IT infrastructure. You will support cloud and on‑prem environments, enforce security controls, and drive automation initiatives in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical setting.

The role focuses on Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta identity, and virtualization, with on‑call rotation and collaboration across IT teams from Jefferson, CO to remote support company‑wide.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years hands-on systems administration/IT infra experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, policy management, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Defender).
• Experience administering Okta or comparable identity provider.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere/Hyper‑V).
• Hands-on with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiClient VPN).
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, VPN.
• Active Directory administration: GPO, LDAP, DNS, user/group management.
• Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022): roles, features, patching, hardening.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
• Must have US Person status for ITAR/export-control eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure services, including user lifecycle and licensing.
• Administer Okta for identity, SSO, and MFA policy enforcement.
• Maintain Windows and Linux servers, and virtualization platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, Fortinet devices, VPNs.
• Manage Active Directory, GPOs, and security policies.
• Write automation scripts (PowerShell/Bash/Python) to boost efficiency.
• Document systems and runbooks; contribute to on-call rotations.
