Job summary

Lockheed Martin's Next Generation Geospatial team seeks a full-time Software Engineer to build and support ground-segment software for the NGG OPIR mission in Colorado. The role involves collaborating across teams, triaging issues, and delivering new capabilities while supporting 24x7 responses when needed.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in Java, Python, or C++, SQL proficiency, Angular familiarity, and the ability to communicate complex tech to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience with Java, Python, or C++.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Familiarity with Angular framework.
• Experience troubleshooting software and infrastructure issues.
• Ability to work in a collaborative multi-team environment.
• Active Secret government clearance with ability to gain TS/SCI non-polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting issues in the Operations domain.
• Fixing high-priority, high-visibility issues in real time.
• On-call component; may require 24x7 support within a 40-hour week.
• Design, implement, and test new software capabilities with a team.
• Leverage AI in new ways within this role and practice.
• Apply standards, processes, procedures, and tools across the lifecycle.
