Job summary

The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join the SATCOM Mission Planning Software Engineering team in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on high-performance APIs and front-end/back-end integration in an Agile/DevSecOps environment.

You will develop reusable APIs, support the full development lifecycle, and contribute to secure, scalable software for national security programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field.
• 1+ years' experience with Python.
• 1+ years' experience with Java, JavaScript, or C++.
• 1+ years' experience with TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Develops APIs between front-end and back-end services.
• Supports Agile DevSecOps integration and CI/CD.
• Supports full software lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Architects and consumes APIs and backend services with emphasis on automation and security.
• Conducts code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
• Translates design mockups into functional, visually appealing user interfaces.
• Advocates for improvements to product quality, security and performance.
• Works effectively in ambiguous environments and self-directs work.
