Job summary

Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing Company, in Maryland Heights, MO, seeks a Software Engineer to contribute to the next generation Mission Planning system for the DoD. You will join a Scrum team using SAFe and work with a microservices architecture, primarily C# backend and JavaScript/React frontend.

Required: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of software development with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, C#, or C++, plus REST APIs and Agile practices. Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, C#, and/or C++.
• Experience with REST style APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Experience with unit/integration testing and system validation.
• Proficiency with version control and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, development, testing and maintenance of weapon planning software through end-to-end lifecycle.
• Translate customer requirements into initial software design with Product Owner assistance.
• Develop, maintain, enhance and optimize software for systems integrations.
• Document architectures, requirements, interfaces and test plans.
• Debug and resolve issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve software processes.
