Job summary

Vosper Thornycroft Group is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance software for mission-critical national security initiatives. You will work across full-stack development with C, C++, and Python, and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

Ideally 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience with full-stack software development and modernization.

Responsibilities

Analyze user, system, and mission requirements to derive software design, interface, and performance requirements.
Design, develop, modify, test, and maintain full-stack software applications and mission-system components.
Develop software solutions using C, C++, Python, and other applicable programming languages.
Debug existing software, identify root causes, and correct defects.
Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and highly available mission systems.
Create, configure, deploy, and maintain Docker containers and Kubernetes resources.
Develop automation scripts to improve development, testing, deployment, and operations.
