Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Satellite Operations Controller in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to support the Front Range Operations and Sustainment Team (FROST) and provide satellite support to a government customer. The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with a polygraph, with shift work to cover 24/7 operations at Schriever Garrison.

You will establish communications, monitor displays, coordinate across multiple programs, and generate downtime and status reports.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of related experience with Satellite Operations, including military or civilian training and experience
• Must have an active TS/SCI with a POLY
• Must be willing to work shifts as required to support mission operations.
• Ability to solve complex problems in a challenging and dynamic environment
• Analytical skills and the ability to perform assigned technical tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Establishing voice, messaging, and data communications for multiple-satellite programs of varying priorities and classifications.
• Configuration and monitoring of displays for computer and network equipment during normal mission operations.
• Multi-program coordination and scheduling using custom software tools.
• Determination of any anomalous condition and providing corrective actions as required.
• Generation of downtime reports and other associated documentation for operational outages.
• Support to various operations status, engineering review, and problem boards.
