Job summary

A global defense contractor is seeking a Project Manager to manage the Mobile Detection Deployment Program. The role requires extensive operational experience and strong leadership skills, overseeing personnel and ensuring mission-critical operations for the Department of Homeland Security. Candidates must possess a Secret Security Clearance and significant experience in CBRN environments. The position involves travel and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have a Commercial Driver’s License Class B within 3 months following contract award.
• Versed in authoritative documents and understanding how they are applied.
• Ability to travel 50-75% during the year.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management to Technical Support Specialists.
• Ensure proficiency in equipment and standards.
• Conduct corrective actions on TSS staff as needed.
• Provide operational oversight and travel approvals.
• Deliver weekly, monthly, and yearly program status reports.

Skills

Active Secret Security Clearance

20+ years operational CBRN experience

Minimum 5 years personnel leadership and management experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Able to read, write, and speak English fluently

Able to lift/carry equipment up to 50lbs
