You’ll be part of a team building a facility that plays a direct role in shaping how data is stored, processed, and delivered at scale. It’s fast-paced, highly coordinated work with real, tangible impact. This is a fully on-site role where the project site becomes your day-to-day environment. GCON offers assistance to help make arrangements such as housing and relocation to support your transition to this unique project environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the construction industry while gaining hands-on experience in a large-scale, technically complex build.

Position Description

The Project Administrator provides comprehensive operational leadership with a primary focus on site infrastructure and team optimization. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of site trailers and facilities, strategic procurement of office supplies, and the implementation of systems that drive overall team productivity. Acts as the central hub for ensuring the physical and digital work environment is fully equipped and functioning at peak effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Program Director and project leadership with day-to-day administrative operations

  • Oversight of all site trailers, including mobilization, layout optimization, maintenance scheduling, and space assignments to ensure a professional and functional work environment
  • Proactive management of office supply chains; identifying needs, negotiating with vendors, and maintaining inventory levels to prevent any operational downtime
  • Monitoring project staff workflows and action trackers to identify bottlenecks; implementing tools and processes that enhance the team’s overall output and effectiveness
  • Managing the logistical side of new hire integration, ensuring all personnel have the immediate resources, space, and equipment needed to be productive from Day 1
  • Creating and maintaining formal operational logs, inventory records, and productivity reports for project leadership
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field, or prior exposure to mid- to large-scale construction firms preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks

  • A proactive mindset with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
