Job summary

Mount Indie is seeking an experienced Network Administrator for an onsite role in Annapolis Junction, MD. The position requires an active Secret clearance and US citizenship, with 7+ years in network administration and hands-on work with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.

You will monitor performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 24x7x365 uptime while coordinating with cross-functional teams and integrating cloud services and storage platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a related field.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship; dual citizens cannot be considered.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN concentrators.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements for throughput and availability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues using firewall logs, switch packet-capture tools, and other resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.
• Plan capacity and manage bandwidth for growth and changing needs.
• Integrate network infrastructure with cloud services and storage platforms.
• Document network designs, configurations, and operating procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
