Job summary

Forge Strategies in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects in the Greater Milwaukee area, including healthcare, industrial and large commercial work.

You will drive preconstruction to closeout, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams, and ensure safety and on-time delivery. This employee-owned firm offers long-term growth and a stable backlog.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PM experience in HVAC/MEP or mechanical construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with mission-critical, industrial, healthcare, or large commercial projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of job costing, scheduling, and construction finances.
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, labor, procurement, and financial performance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Support multiple projects while maintaining a high level of organization and communication.
