Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a Linux System Administrator for a defense client to support secure, mission-critical infrastructure in a classified environment. The role focuses on administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), implementing automation with Ansible, ensuring STIG compliance, and maintaining resilient cybersecurity and availability across systems.
Applicants should have 4–7 years of experience, relevant certifications, and DoD/IC experience preferred; AWS experience and virtualization
Qualifications
- Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
- 4-7 years of Systems Administration and/or Systems Engineering experience.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
- Experience hardening systems and applying STIGs.
- System monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system health and install/maintain monitoring agents.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and manage system configurations.
- Ensure systems meet cybersecurity, availability and resilience requirements.
- Support deployment and maintenance of secure computing environments.
- Implement infrastructure automation with tools like Ansible.
