Job summary

StaffSource seeks a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical software for missile warning systems in a 100% on-site setting at Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs. The role requires hands-on collaboration in a secure environment and active Secret clearance.

You will work with Agile teams, containerize applications with Docker, write unit tests, and contribute to design documentation and procedures. Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Java skills required.
• Docker containerization experience required.
• CI/CD tools experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• C++ experience preferred.
• Security clearance: Active Secret required.
