Job summary

JCS Solutions is seeking an experienced Major Incident Response Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of major IT incidents within a DoD environment. You will coordinate incident response efforts, bridge calls, and communicate with government leadership to restore services quickly.

Required are an active Secret clearance, 2+ years in a DoD setting, and strong ITIL knowledge. The role includes on-site swing shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Minimum 2 years of DoD environment experience.
• Experience managing incident management processes.
• Experience providing phone and in-person technical support.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of ITIL incident and problem management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage major IT incidents to minimize service disruptions.
• Coordinate incident bridge calls and drive resolution.
• Provide timely communications to stakeholders, including leadership.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Provide end-user support for hardware, software, printers, and email.
• Maintain incident records and documentation per procedures and government requirements.
• Identify trends and contribute to service improvements.
