Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Major Incident Response Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of major incidents in a DoD environment. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, perform root cause analysis, and communicate with government leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Two years of DoD environment experience.
• Experience in enterprise incident management processes.
• Experience providing phone/in-person support for email, directory services, Windows apps.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and IT operations.
• Understanding of incident management, service restoration, escalation, and ITIL practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and manage major IT incidents and events.
• Lead incident response to minimize outages and restore services quickly.
• Serve as primary incident contact; coordinate technical teams and bridge calls.
• Communicate status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document findings.
• Provide end-user tech support for hardware, software, and apps.
• Identify trends and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
• Maintain incident records and operational documentation per procedures.
