Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support a mission-critical communications environment on-site in Denver, CO. You will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for deployed systems and ensure 24/7 operational readiness for users in CUI/Secret environments.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, using ticketing systems, and maintaining mission systems like SIL. Active Secret clearance and CAC credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

2-8 years of experience in enterprise help desk/NOC/IT support environments.
Bachelor's degree preferred in IT-related field.
Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.
CAC credential from DoD (or ability to obtain).
Security+, Network+, A+ or equivalent DoD 8570-compliant cert preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for mission-critical communication systems in a 24/7 environment.
Monitor and respond to support requests using ticketing/monitoring tools; prioritize incidents.
Troubleshoot network and communications issues including Link 16, JREAP-C, SIPR connectivity.
Maintain SIL capabilities and support mission initialization activities.
Escalate complex issues to SMEs; document solutions and improve processes.
